Fruit By-Product Valorization via Supercritical Extraction

This project develops a system to valorize beekeeping and fruit sector by-products into bioactive powder (BioPowder) using supercritical liquid extraction. It transforms underutilized materials into high-quality food supplements, enhancing farmers' incomes and economic competitiveness. The process standardizes plant extracts, meeting rising market demand for natural, high-quality food ingredients. Funded by the European Union and accessible via EU-FarmBook, the initiative supports sustainable agriculture and circular economy practices in the food sector.
