This project, funded by the European Union, establishes a short supply chain for Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese producers through direct sales via social media. It creates a new corporate identity and brand based on producer-specific traits, regional heritage, and traceability. The initiative enhances transparency by showcasing farm activities, input sourcing, and social responsibility via a dedicated social community and marketing strategy. Logistics and certification processes are informed by preliminary studies. Coordinated by Fondazione Crpa Studi e Ricerche (Italy), with partners CENTRO RICERCHE PRODUZIONI ANIMALI SpA and SOCIETA' AGRICOLA DELSANTE ELVEZIO E SAVERIO SOCIETA' SEMPLICE, the project supports innovation in the agri-food sector under the EIP-AGRI framework.
