Automated Phytosanitary Systems in Heroic Vineyards
Automated phytosanitary systems and sustainable vineyard practices in Treviso's heroic viticulture regions
or
Detail description
The project developed two automated fixed systems for phytosanitary treatments in heroic vineyards, achieving performance comparable to conventional methods. Key benefits include operator-free application, precise chemical distribution, and reduced drift through anti-drift nozzles. Electrolyzed water showed efficacy on par with standard formulations, even at half-dose. The initiative introduced the "Vigna Sostenibile" regional brand to certify sustainable practices and promoted the LA.VI.P.E. platform for agricultural record-keeping. Epidemiological monitoring in Treviso province found no significant environmental concerns. Funded by the European Union.
