Aumento della fertilità del suolo con matrici organiche: studio su melo e kiwi
Improving soil fertility in organic fruit farming through recycled organic matrices in a circular economy model
or
Detail description
Improve soil fertility in apple and kiwi production using recycled organic matrices. The GO BIOFERTIMAT project enhances soil organic matter, reduces water use, and prevents nutrient leaching. Pollen provides rapid nitrogen release; green compost, digestate, and mushroom compost offer slow-release nitrogen (high C/N ratio), ideal for fruit crops. A 100 kg N/ha dose (≈10 t dry matter/ha/year) is optimal. Locally sourced matrices support carbon sequestration and circular economy principles. Proven effective in integrated and organic fruit farming, maintaining balanced nutrition and improving phosphorus and potassium uptake. Funded by the European Union.
