Forest Management Planning Solution with Interoperability for Efficient Private Forest Management

or

Detail description

The "eGozd" project culminated in the presentation of a web-based solution aimed at enhancing forest management planning. This innovative solution integrates data from various publicly available platforms, such as forest tenure and infrastructure, into a single platform using interoperability. By offering simplified planning, monitoring, and execution options, the project aims to improve private forest management efficiency. The forest estate plan generated through the platform provides forest owners with insights into their forest data, future management possibilities, and real-time timber prices. Emphasizing nature conservation guidelines, the plan also supports habitat conservation and enhancement. Additionally, the system enables forest owners to evaluate production processes economically, optimize costs, and make informed decisions on implementing forest management activities. Ultimately, the project aims to ensure sustainable timber utilization, contributing to the overall development of rural areas through digitized business processes and enhanced cost control for forest owners.
