This project enhances cereal grain, rape seed, and Fabaceae crop quality using Basalt-S, a sulfur-enriched basalt dust technology. It boosts yields, improves nutritional value, increases soil pH, and enriches soil with sulfur. Farmers gain higher productivity and economic returns, while consumers benefit from better-quality food. The approach repurposes mining by-product basalt dust, enabling waste-free resource use and supporting sustainable agriculture. Funded by the European Union via EU-FarmBook, it advances innovation and knowledge sharing under the EIP-AGRI framework.
