This project implements container-based insect production in ecological farms to create sustainable feed and organic fertilizer from plant waste using on-farm energy. It supports poultry and future livestock nutrition, promotes organic farming, and addresses global protein shortages. The initiative develops standards for on-farm insect farming in Poland, aligning with the Ministry of Agriculture’s Feed Act amendments. Funded by the EU and accessible via EU-FarmBook.
