The next-generation MeFiTu: Mediterranean forests, fire and you

To raise pupils’ awareness of the risk of wildfires and self-protection in Mediterranean contexts. The MeFiTu project involves primary and secondary schools in hands-on activities in Catalonia, in collaboration with ResAlliance and the Fire Service. Through interactive presentations, workshops using recycled materials and controlled burning demonstrations, pupils learn about the ecological role of fire, landscape management and fire resilience in the context of climate change.
