Detail description

We're South is a territorial network based on the Ionian Calabrian Coast, founded by Giulia Montepaone, promoting rural tourism, cultural heritage, and local economic development. Comprising farms, agriturismi, a jewellery shop, theatre, educational farm, and trekking organisation across six municipalities, the network supports sustainable livelihoods and community resilience. It fosters environmental and cultural preservation, advocates for essential public services in rural areas, and offers experiences through its website. Recognised as a formal association since 2024, We're South enhances visibility for remote communities and strengthens local engagement through events and public programming. Funded by the European Union, the initiative reflects a grassroots movement for sustainable rural development.
