Agroecology: Principles and approaches for the benefit of organic farming.

The ‘Territori Bio’ project (Territories and rural networks for technical and organisational innovations aimed at organic farms), funded under the Veneto Region’s Rural Development Programme (2014–2020), measures 16.1.1, 16.2.1, 3.2.1 and 1.1.1, promotes the creation and management of a Guidance, Propulsion and Support Centre (CoPa, in Italian) for the benefit of the organic production system of two Veneto bio-districts, encouraging farms to adopt organic and eco-sustainable practices. The adoption of agro-ecological approaches is of strategic importance for the harmonious development of the territory and for guiding operational decisions, encouraging public and private actors to adopt more conscious behaviour in the management and protection of the common good.
