Non-invasive sorting module for mini kiwi fruits to enhance quality and storage efficiency
or
Detail description
The MiniKiwi project at SGGW Warsaw develops a non-invasive sorting module (MODOM) for Actinidia arguta, focusing on size and visual quality to sort undersized or damaged fruits. Funded by the European Rural Development Fund, it supports quick sale or long-term storage by removing overripe specimens. The system uses conveyor-based sorting, aligns with the EU Rural Development Program (2014–2020), and references patent P.443173. Additional resources include a grower’s manual, Polish guides, and YouTube tutorials.
