or
Detail description
thERBN is a Horizon Europe project launched in January 2025, funded with nearly €3 million under grant agreement No. 101182955. Led by Ghent University, it brings together 20 partners from 11 European countries to create a multi-actor network supporting smallholder farmers and foresters in adopting circular bioeconomy solutions. The project focuses on transforming agricultural and forestry residues into sustainable, locally applicable innovations, enhancing resilience and economic viability in rural communities. Through open-access digital platforms like EU-Farmentbook and multilingual tools, thERBN enables knowledge sharing, policy recommendations, and cross-border collaboration. The initiative emphasizes practical, co-created solutions to bridge the gap between innovation and on-the-ground implementation, ensuring long-term impact and accessibility.
