Detail description
The Castilla y León Land Ownership Study is the result of a collaboration agreement between the Spanish Government and the Regional Government of Castilla y León that spanned eight years (2006–2014).
The aim of the Study was to identify and understand forest owners, which is important for implementing forest management – essential for mobilising forest resources and creating wealth and employment in the forestry sector – and forms part of the Castile and León Forestry Plan (2001–2027). It has also served to support the Programme for the Mobilisation of Forest Resources, approved by Resolution 23/2014 of 30 January of the Regional Government of Castile and León.
