A decision support system developed by FOREST4EU with CeseFor and ACREMA estimates resin yield from maritime pine (Pinus pinaster) in Spain using machine learning models and web GIS. It enables users to input plot-specific data—tree counts, dasonometric variables, harvesting methods, and paste types—to predict resin production. Production maps based on IFN IV Pinus pinaster data and climatic variables support regional planning. The tool calculates maximum resin potential under legal constraints, using diameter thresholds of 20–25 cm depending on region. Designed for forest managers and researchers, it supports sustainable resin production in Spain’s national bioeconomy.
