The FOREST4EU project evaluated visitors' willingness to pay for cultural-tourist ecosystem services in the Monte Nerone area, Marche Apennines, Italy. A questionnaire assessed perceived importance and fulfillment of services like landscape and biodiversity on a 1–7 scale, alongside demographic data and parking fee willingness. Results inform conservation and enhancement funding. Conducted by UNIFI and BIOSEFORTE, the study supports sustainable management in a highly touristic, accessible region.
