Opties voor verbetering meetprotocollen voor vaststellen emissiefactoren van natuurlijk geventileerde stalsystemen in de veehouderij
This report presents the results of measurements that were carried out within the framework of the research program “Klimaatenvelop” to look for options for improving the current measurement protocols in order to determine emission factors of naturally ventilated housing systems. Two issues were taken into consideration: representative sampling of gas concentrations, and the application of sensor systems for continuous measurements. From these measurements it can be concluded that the explanation of two points in the measurement protocol could be improved. First of all, the location of sampling lines inside the livestock building. Secondly, restricting when the ventilation regime may be modified. In addition, continuous measurements with sensors could be used to determine emissions and the effect of emission reduction measures, provided that the equipment (sensors) is controlled regularly (by means of validation measurements).
