Decision-Making in Small Agricultural Businesses Using AI and BI

The Decision-Making project enhanced commercial decision-making in small agricultural businesses through Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence. Implemented in Tarragona, Priorat, and Baix Penedès from July 2020 to September 2022, it focused on digitalisation, KPI definition, and analytics—descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive. Applications included client segmentation, recommendation systems, sales forecasting, and performance monitoring. The project improved productivity, reduced errors, optimised stock, cut transport emissions, and supported sustainable supply chains using machine learning, contributing to climate resilience. Results were shared via etim.cat, cevipe.cat, fcac.coop, uoc.edu, social media, and webinars.
