Developed fifth-grade ready meals using meat trimmings to meet elderly nutritional needs, with high-quality protein from pork, beef, and lamb. Led by BONGUST and Mafirica, supported by Eurecat and INNOVACC, the project created 10–12 pilot meals, including stuffed cabbage with lamb and pumpkin sauce. Focused on local ingredients, nutritional optimisation, and health claims, funded under Spain’s 2018 pilot innovation programme, results published October 2021.
