Avian Influenza Risk Assessment Tool for Poultry Farms

The BroilerNet project presents an online risk assessment tool developed by the University of Vechta and FLI to help poultry farms evaluate and improve biosecurity against avian influenza. The tool assesses farm-specific risks across three areas—farm security, stable security, and work processes—using 100 questions. It assigns a risk level using a traffic light system (red, amber, green) and provides an optimisation analysis with prioritised improvement measures, exportable as a PDF. The tool supports updating biosecurity plans and is accessible free of charge at risikoampel.uni-vechta.de in German, English, Polish, and French.
