Anatomical map of neuropeptide binding sites, across multiple species and multiple peptides
This deliverable is to apply a new technology, for rapidly mapping neuropeptide binding sites across multiple tissues and multiple species (Halberg et al., Nature Comms, 2015), to increase our understanding of neuropeptides selected for mimetic synthesis. This should enable us to confirm any known binding sites, and to delineate any potential novel binding sites – and therefore inferred function. Ultimately, these data will be published, both as papers, and in our DINER database, as a public good resulting from the nEUROSTRESSPEP project.
