To ensure optimal lambing conditions indoors and improve lamb survival, this report presents evidence-based design principles for lambing sheds. Developed by SheepNet, a European Knowledge Exchange, the project draws on expertise from Romanian institutions including INRA, INP, and SRUC, with funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme (grant agreement No 727895). The study focuses on structural, environmental, and management factors that enhance lamb health and survival rates.
