Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for vegetable crops in Europe, supported by the EU Horizon 2020 project SmartProtect (grant No. 862563), integrates advanced monitoring, sensing, and predictive models to enable early pest detection and precision pesticide use. The project promotes sustainable agriculture by reducing chemical inputs, protecting pollinators, and supporting farmer adoption through training and decision support systems. Resources, including tools and educational materials in English and Greek, are available under a CC-BY licence.
