Woody Plant (Mostly Trees) Cover ≥ 10%, Low Intensity (WT_L)
This type encompasses grasslands in which interspersed trees reach canopy covers greater than10%, and that are managed at low intensity. The dehesa and montado systems in the south west of the Iberian Peninsula make up a large proportion of this type, but it is also present in the form of wooded pastures and meadow orchards in other parts of Europe, notably Fennoscandia and the Baltic states.

FACTSHEET NANOCELLULOSE MEMBRANES FOR NUTRIENT RECOVERY Key information Functionalized nanocellulose membranes can take up nitrate and phosphate. These membranes can be put in a water treatment unit. As the membranes are biobased, degradable materials, they can after use be added to the soil, thus returning the leached nutrients back for their original purpose providing fertilizers (nutrient recycling).
