How feasible is it for farmers to implement various innovative permanent grassland management options in different parts of Europe?
This policy brief presents the findings of an assessment aiming to evaluate the feasibility of eleven different permanent grassland (PG) management options and innovations. The study focused on ease of implementation, likely uptake, and potential to deliver ecosystem services under diverse climatic, agronomic, and socio-economic conditions. Perspectives from scientific experts and farmers across five biogeographic regions in Europe were gathered using a modified Delphi technique.

FACTSHEET NANOCELLULOSE MEMBRANES FOR NUTRIENT RECOVERY Key information Functionalized nanocellulose membranes can take up nitrate and phosphate. These membranes can be put in a water treatment unit. As the membranes are biobased, degradable materials, they can after use be added to the soil, thus returning the leached nutrients back for their original purpose providing fertilizers (nutrient recycling).
