Eatmosphere: Building Food System Linkages for Sustainability

Connecting farmers, consumers, and food system actors through sustainable food initiatives and community-driven models

or

Detail description

Sustainable food system innovation through farmer-consumer connections, circular food practices, and community-supported agriculture. Eatmosphere, a social enterprise founded by a food and ecology advocate, promotes agro-ecology, plant-based diets, and shorter supply chains via workshops, farm-to-fork events, and organic tomato sauce production. The initiative, supported by the COCOREADO Horizon 2020 project (2021–2024), fosters collaboration across the food chain, from producers to consumers, with revenues funding youth engagement, farm visits, and intercultural cooking. Based in Belgium, Eatmosphere advances sustainability, food waste reduction, and ecological resilience through co-creation and participatory models.
