Uudenmaan Ruoka: Local Seasonal Food Platform

Small specialty farms in Uusimaa gain direct market access through an online food hub platform, connecting them with consumers for seasonal, locally sourced produce. Consumers order in advance, select pickup times and locations, and receive fresh goods from multiple farms. The system supports pre-contracting, price control for farmers, and collective marketing, enhancing visibility for small producers. Part of the EU-funded COCOREADO project (2021–2024), this replicable model strengthens local food supply chains and promotes innovation in agricultural knowledge and public procurement.
