This study has assessed the legal constraints for sourcing local and seasonal food from small producers. It recommends legislative refinements to boost sustainable food competitiveness, such as the implementation of Life Cycle Costing, a greater focus on Corporate Social Responsibility, and the advancement in establishing specific mandatory minimum SPP criteria for food.
