Detail description

Adult pollen beetles overwinter in soil, emerge in spring, and infest brassica crops, feeding on buds and flowers. Females lay eggs in flower buds, and larvae feed on pollen and developing pods before pupating in soil. One generation per year; adults disperse to feed and overwinter. Used to time monitoring and control actions.
