Detail description
Alternaria, or early blight, causes leaf spots and tuber damage in potatoes and other horticultural crops. A weather-based decision support system on platform.ipmdecisions.net uses temperature and leaf wetness data to calculate daily Disease Severity Value (DSV). Accumulated DSV triggers fungicide application when lower or upper thresholds are reached. Treatment resets DSV to zero. Parameters should be verified and adjusted for local conditions.
