This document provides practical recommendations for cultivating new grape varieties in steep-slope vineyards, focusing on leveraging climate change as an opportunity for terraced vineyard wine production in the Neckar region and Württemberg, Germany. It addresses challenges such as high maintenance costs, lack of adequate pricing for grape clusters, and the need to preserve cultural and ecological heritage. Based on a survey of 610 winemakers from Württemberg, the report outlines strategies to sustainably maintain and develop steep-land viticulture.
