Detaillierte Beschreibung
A physiological well-being monitoring and management system for dairy cows in Brandenburg, using sensor-based data from smart ear tags to assess 19 well-being parameters. The system integrates vital signs and herd management data, visualizing results via the 'Tierwohl-Ampel'—a color-coded (green/yellow/red) dashboard in HERDplus® software that evaluates individual and herd-level well-being across health, fertility, feeding, longevity, and environmental protection. It supports early detection of health issues, estrus, and calving prediction, with scientifically validated thresholds. Funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
