Detaljeret beskrivelse

Data generated by research and development in the wine sector is often characterised by its complexity, heterogeneity and dispersion among a multitude of actors. This fragmentation makes it particularly difficult to share and reuse. To support the structuring and qualification of data according to FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), the Viti-Oeno Resource Centre was set up as part of the CASDAR VITIS DATA CROP project. This web app brings together a coherent set of digital resources of various kinds: documents, controlled vocabularies, ontologies, applications. All resources are accessible in open access, both for users and for machines via a Web API layer. This work lays the foundations for more efficient and collaborative data management in the technical and scientific wine and vine community. However, efforts to develop tools, training and outreach must continue to encourage adoption of the approach.
