Detaljeret beskrivelse

The project aimed to prevent the introduction and spread of major or (re)emerging pests and diseases in potato crops through the implementation of high-performance detection tools, risk analysis, and the development of new control methods. Achievements include validating extraction, detection, and identification protocols for root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) in soil and tubers; creating an innovative CAPS-based molecular assay to characterize Dickeya species, notably Dickeya solani; assessing phosphite-based biopesticides with reduced fungicide doses against Phytophthora infestans under moderate disease pressure; and establishing field surveys and risk forecasting approaches for wireworm (Agriotes) management across multiple cropping systems.
