Energiegebruik en productie in de akkerbouw
Akkerbouwbedrijf met energieproductie via zon en wind voor energieneutraliteit

Detaljeret beskrivelse
This factsheet examines energy use and self-sufficiency potential in a 60-hectare arable farm in the southwestern Netherlands. It analyzes weekly energy consumption of 22,465 kWh electricity and 8,130 liters diesel (390,000 MJ total), with 80% from diesel and 20% from electricity. The study evaluates a 50 kW wind turbine and 250 solar panels (350 Wp each), producing 521,457 MJ (145,000 kWh) annually—enough to make the farm theoretically energy-neutral. Production exceeds demand in some periods, while demand exceeds supply in others, indicating a need for energy storage or green hydrogen production. These solutions are still under development for on-farm use.
