PionERS of Climate-Smart Farming: An Agronomic Atlas of 10 Real-World Climate Action Plans

The Climate Smart Research (CSR) project is advancing climate-smart agriculture by connecting 29 Experimental Research Stations across Europe. Within the project, ten Pioneering Experimental Research Stations (PioneERS) are testing innovative farming approaches under real-world conditions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, strengthen climate resilience, and support the transition towards climate-neutral agriculture. Each station implements a co-developed Climate Action Plan (ClimAP) that guides research, innovation, and stakeholder engagement while assessing the synergies and trade-offs between productivity, climate mitigation, and adaptation
