Detalizēts apraksts

This article presents the outcomes of a prospective seminar held in July 2015 that brought together ONF (Office National des Forêts) engineers and INRA EFPA researchers to identify actionable adaptation levers in forest management. The workshop covered silvicultural decisions at the stand level and planning at forest unit, regional and national scales. Through structured sessions, foresters posed practical management questions while scientists offered evidence-based responses. The discussion led to a collaborative project: to use simulation models to design diverse, innovative management options and to implement them on a significant portion of managed forests within a coordinated monitoring and scientific evaluation system.
