Detalizēts apraksts

Project CUNIPALM (2009–2013), a collaboration between ITAVI and INRA, developed the DIAMOND method to evaluate sustainability across rabbit and fatty waterfowl breeding units. Using data from networks of reference farms, researchers established national performance benchmarks and highlighted the impact of technical choices on system sustainability. Seven targeted innovations in feeding, housing, reproduction, and genetics were experimentally tested for their potential to improve environmental, economic, and social outcomes. The DIAMOND approach, presented in a user guide and research assessment tool, offers a participatory framework for strategic analysis, innovation validation, and communication within these livestock sectors.
