Descripción detallada
Organic farming (OF) is increasingly viewed as a strategy to address collective environmental, economic, and social challenges at the local level. This paper charts the evolution of OF development with a growing emphasis on territorial dynamics. Drawing on an in-depth analysis of six place-based initiatives, it examines project objectives, stakeholder roles, governance structures, and project trajectories. The study then discusses the practical difficulties of implementing local organic farming programs, identifies success factors, and outlines the professional skills required by facilitators to support such initiatives effectively.
