How to perform a fecal examination?
A fecal examination involves observing parasite eggs in a horse's manure under a microscope to decide whether deworming is needed. Eggs of strongyles, ascarids, and strongyloides are commonly observed. After collecting fresh manure, it can be stored in the refrigerator until the analysis is performed.
