De koeien van Arjen Kool raakten helemaal gestresst van de constant prikkende vliegen die in hun nek zaten. Hartstikke zielig, vond de boer uit Hei- en Boeicop. Maar ja, gif gebruiken vond hij ook geen goed idee. Dus bouwde hij samen met familie een eigen oplossing: een mechanische vliegenvanger. "Een soort wasstraat, ja. En daardoor zijn ze echt een stuk blijer geworden."
