De EUDR, de wet die ontbossing tegen moet gaan, zou op 30 december 2024 van kracht worden. De Europese Commissie heeft echter begin oktober aangekondigd de invoering van de wet een jaar uit te willen stellen. Maar uitstel betekent zeker geen afstel. Het is zaak klaar te zijn voor de invoering van deze wet die óók voor hout uit het Nederlandse bos geldt.

The BIOEAST Initiative represents the common political commitment and shared strategic research and innovation framework for working towards sustainable and circular bioeconomies in the CEE countries.
