Gereedschapskist herstelbeheer kruiden- en faunarijk grasland (N12.02)

De meeste percelen met de doelstelling kruiden- en faunarijk grasland waren eerder voor landbouw in gebruik. De bodem kan daardoor een grote nutriëntenvoorraad bevatten, die een snelle overgang naar kruiden- en faunarijk grasland belemmert. Er zijn dan jaren nodig om de juiste condities te ontwikkelen. In deze periode is het belangrijk het beheer aan te passen aan de veldsituatie, zodat de ontwikkeling niet stagneert. Deze handreiking beschrijft welke beheermaatregelen er in de gereedschapskist van beheerders zitten en welke strategie het beste past bij vier veldsituaties.

This case study is drafting new legislation that allows renting forestland for multiple purposes in order to increase economic efficiency and maintain a balance between all ecosystem services. This Russian case works on regulation mechanisms so that people renting forestland can use it for multiple purposes, and to include ecosystem services in the Forest Code.
