SIEGA is a geographic information system designed to support extensive livestock management and pasture monitoring in Cantabria, Madrid, Galicia, and Asturias. Funded with €479,561.90 in 2019, the project ran from July 2019 to July 2021. It integrates satellite remote sensing and GPS tracking to enhance decision-making. Key partners include Complutum TIG, ASAJA Cantabria, ASAJA Asturias, ASAGA Galicia, and IDC. Research collaborators are INGACAL-CIAM, SERIDA, CIFA, and UAH’s Department of Geology, Geography, and Environment. Project details and contact: daniel.reinosa@uah.es, http://siega.complutig.es.
