SIEGA: Sistema de Información Geográfica para la Gestión de Ganadería Extensiva

SIEGA is a geographic information system designed to support extensive livestock management and pasture monitoring in Cantabria, Madrid, Galicia, and Asturias. Funded with €479,561.90 in 2019, the project ran from July 2019 to July 2021. It integrates satellite remote sensing and GPS tracking to enhance decision-making. Key partners include Complutum TIG, ASAJA Cantabria, ASAJA Asturias, ASAGA Galicia, and IDC.
