Modelling HPAI within-farm transmission using viral load distributions, to evaluate biosecurity effectiveness and to support management policies

This poster presents a model of within-farm transmission of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) based on viral load distributions. The goal is to assess the effectiveness of biosecurity measures and support management policies. Additionally, it explores whether compartmentalizing can effectively limit the spread of virus.
