Unmanaged Grassland with Succession Towards Non-Grassland (U_NGL)

This type encompasses grasslands that no longer are cut or grazed by livestock and will develop into non-grassland habitats in the medium term unless management is resumed. They belong to the vast majority of European permanent grasslands that are the product of human activities and replace the forest habitats that form the potential natural vegetation.
