About project

The association of livestock and trees or wood pastures is still not observed on the field. Yet,this practice has its place in extensive cattle systems : production of livestock litter, contribution to food and fodder autonomy (forest fruits and fodder on the ground), diversification of marketed productions and new sources of income (wood). There are also environmental benefits such as reduction of erosion or absorption of nitrogen and an improvement in animal welfare.
