Slideshow/PresentationMay 05, 2021-- José María García Álvarez-Coque
A battery of social innovation mechanisms based on Common Land Management Initiatives (GCIs) and other resources are proposed to address the problem of abandonment and the lack of competitiveness of fruit and vegetable, wine and olive association companies. The agri-food sector is strategic for Spanish society. The feasibility of traditional citrus, vineyard, fruit and vegetable-producing areas, in dryland and irrigation, has been faced with structural problems arising loss of profitability, abandonment, low mobility of the land market.
