Working together on the Blijen Landscape

Bee-friendly landscape: a sustainable landscape that supports wild bees, hoverflies and butterflies through nature-friendly management, flowering green spaces and connected green corridors. It promotes biodiversity, soil stability, water quality and cultural heritage. Key elements include preserving at least 15–30% of undisturbed areas, using bee hotels, avoiding pesticides and providing food sources within 500 metres. The aim is a sustainable, connected and flourishing landscape that also benefits people.
