Detail description
A transition is needed towards resilient plants and cultivation systems, in which diseases and pests have far fewer opportunities to take hold, agriculture and horticulture are connected to nature, and emissions are virtually eliminated. Profitable business operations that offer prospects for new generations of farmers and horticulturalists form the basis on which this transition must be achieved. This transition will not happen of its own accord. Cooperation and knowledge exchange between sectors, and between researchers, agricultural entrepreneurs and their crop advisors, will contribute to this transition. In this ‘Knowledge on Demand’ project, existing knowledge in the fields of biostimulants, biodiversity and integrated crop protection is translated into practical knowledge products, such as advice, best practices, brochures, training materials and empirical evidence.
