Autonomous AI-Driven Spraying for Sustainable Berry Farming
Autonomous robotic system for precision spraying and pest monitoring in berry farms
or
Detail description
This solution by Ribes Technologies enables autonomous, selective spraying in berry plantations across Poland’s Lubelskie region, reducing Plant Protection Product (PPP) use through AI-powered pest detection and precise chemical application. Equipped with a vision module for real-time monitoring, the four-wheeled robot targets aphids and currant borers separately, minimizing environmental impact and improving fruit quality. It integrates with a solar-powered digital pest trap and includes a cargo compartment for harvesting. The system operates on predefined routes, reducing manual labor and enhancing sustainability in highbush blueberry and blackcurrant farming. Funded by the European Union.
